Looks like Demare give up, he is no longer in the dropped riders list on the live ticker

Edit: Actually he's back now
Even if he survives today, he can't survive tomorrow.

With Demare out we can have quite interesting last stage. Nobody will help Bora/Sagan to keep the peloton together.
It could be a fan to have some Vino kind of winner.

Never underestimate the desire of B sprinters to ride for 7th place

Yes I know but I think there will be a lot of attacks as well and a lot of hesitation in peloton towards Bora.

Good luck staying away from Oss, Burghardt, Postlberger, Bodnar etc on a short flat stage. Bora have a huge amount of horsepower still in the race. Maybe they get thinned out tomorrow, but probably not. And anyway, Kristoff may still be there, plus Richeze.

Cavendish was the last green jersey to win on the champs elysee, would be time for Sagan to mark that off his list anyway.

Given Sagan already has 3 wins, the onus is on those with none to make the race.

Sure, they could look to Bora to do the work, but if their bluff gets called they go home empty handed.

To think, the rider Sagan is set to equal this year never won at Champs-Elysees.

That reminded me of my MTB racing days -- you know you're going to endo but just hope you don't land on something sharp and pointy.

At least he had the sense to unclip as he overcooked the corner.
