Movistar and Bahrain battling for the teams classification there I assume
Usually (with some exceptions), the way this works is one team does its thing to try to win stages and what not, and Movistar just shadows their every move.

Euhm, I tought they were going to start in waves?

That is what I thought as well. I think it would be much more interesting if teams did not have their domestiques in the first group.

This is what SKY has done to cycling. Well, the other team fighting for a 9th place does not help either.

Sky train fully formed now, 3km in. Good to see the other teams really trying putting them under pressure this race.

Anyone with the link? my Eurosport is not working

Can you picture a long line of sky riders moving slowly up a hill with about 130 other disinterested riders in a big bunch behind them?.... If so, you don't need a link.

lol, are they really going to allow Rowe to set the pace

I predicted this before the start of the stage. In 3 hours, we'll be able to read comments about how he set such a blistering pace that no GC rider could possibly attack on this short stage.

No, this is what Abarca does to themselves.

took a wee half day at work, this day better deliver

I see it being a win-win for you. Between Thomas and Froome, at least one of them is likely to fair well, action or no action. I want the gc standings to be chaotic with casualties top and bottom. It's probably not going to happen though if recent history is an indication with the way most of the contenders have been conservative in their racing. Nibali is not there to create panic. Hopefully I wil be proven wrong.

I'm at work so won't be able to watch it till tonight.
