I would have liked to seen Kruijswijk on the attack also. But he is one of the few that actually tried something and it failed. So I can understand his reluctance.

I think it was reasonable. If Landa kicked on with a helper they'd be in no mans land the rest of the day. Good time to spend a bit of effort to get back on the train

Landa can't leave him behind. Amador is a great descender and could be vital in the valley.

Landa should be helping pull to the top of the climb to save Amador a bit so he's of real help on the descent.
