Time limit: 40-42 minutes ish

Sagan is at about 33 minutes stil heading up the Aubisque, his group is catching up another one. Taylor Phinney is by himself and 37 minutes back so could be in trouble.

Roglic is the full package. One of the strongest climbers this Tour, amazing descending, excellent TTer and he's been aggressive. Big favourite to win a GT next year

Zero reason for Tom to do any work here, yet....

His second place?

Was Roglic really a threat to his spot? Unless Tom really bombs the TT he's pretty secure in his spot.

Seeing Roglic in this form he could win tomorrow. So I understand that. However I would have liked him to play a bit more bluf.

Thomas has this wrapped up if he stays upright tomorrow, but at least it's not like it's terrible TTers chasing him. He's not going to be able to truly relax with Dumo and Roglic in 2 and 3.

What a rider Roglic is

He will be the main contender next year, if Lotto picks up a couple more guys to support, and leave Gronewegen at home :)

They actually are going to have to make some tough choices about priorities. Roglic now looks like one of the three top favourites for the Tour next year, along with Froome and Dumoulin. Groenewegen and Kruijswijk, despite looking very good, are likely to find that the team has bigger fish to fry now.

Jumbo has a big chance to win the Tour next year.
Roglic is clearly GT winning material. They have a mountain train with Gesink, Kruijswijk, Tolhoek, Bouwman. Some strong TT-ers as well..

Absolutely. Roglic is clearly stronger right now and really good at time trials. If Dumoulin just let's him go and get maybe 40 seconds, he could well lose his second place

Roglic has a very realistic chance to finish 2nd in this tour. Dumo has the Giro in his legs, and Rogla was 2nd in the World's TT last year. Of course, it could go the other way. Thomas has it locked up unless he crashes tomorrow. He will not lose more than 30 seconds to anyone in the TT -- maybe even win it himself.

Dumoulin is furious. Says Roglic won because of a moto

Tom D has a certain history of silly remarks right after the race .... best for him would be just to shut up and start talking after a bit of recovery ...

Is Primoz now the best descender in Cycling?

Generally, the heavier guys are best downhill, both because it is necessary (they lose the most going up), and because they have extra weight to push them down hill fast.

As a for instance, on stage 16 Valgren had the fastest decending time in the entire peloton, on both the two big climbs at the end.

So, you should limit your question to the GC contenders, if it is to make sense ;)

When was the last time 4 time trialists of this calibre were at the top of the GC?

Original 2003 results had pretty good. Well, everyone of them was busted at some point.
