I am thinking Evans right now.

Even though Evans looks good on these small climbs does anyone actually think he can keep up with AC and AS? Atleast i don't and it seems that AS neither does as he didnt react at all when Evans attacked?

It'll be interesting to see how Andy, Cadel, and Alberto compare in the real mountains, regardless I think those three will be the podium. Cadel seems very strong at this point.

BMC did a great job there for Garmin. Keeping a non climber in yellow till next thursday. Thanks for that dummies.

Contador looks similar as during the Giro so far. In control and observing his opponents. These short hills aren't really his thing, so we will see how well he really is doing Thursday.

wsh they had car video again you would see JV swear when Thor stayed in Yellow.

As well as Thor and Costa rides of the day

Dumb ride of the Day BMC plus the DS as it turned out.

VDB2 Podium at this stage looking good

Given the way AC is climbing, I wouldn't include him in that list. Giro was clearly too much.

Does anybody know how bad Contador's knee is from the stage 5 crash? He seemed to be favoring one side of his body a bit. I'll have to look to see if it was the side that he injured.

Yup. Andy has a bit of a glide path to the top step if he can put time into Cuddles

I don't think it's a done deal yet. People were saying that Contador looked tired, Schleck had his "tired" face on too. I don't think either Schleck is in top form so maybe just maybe Evans or someone could nick it. As long as a Leotard rider doesn't win it I don't mind who does. Will then look forward to Leotard's view of the season cos as of yet they've yet to win any of the races they've targeted.

Andy and AC are favorites no doubt - but Wiggins was suppose to be one of the top 10 riders in the tour so anything can happen in this sport.

I sit in hope rather than expectation but this is le tour - rarely does it go to script

EDIT - IF Cadel does win I am going to laugh at this forum so hard after ive done jumping up and down and crying in happiness

My tendency is always to expect the same: more.

sure, but you also need to be realistic, otherwise you will newer enjoy it, when you expactation is to high then anything can fullfill it..

this stage was what it is a secondary hill stage..

Neither AC nor AS look sharp this year, that's why Evans is really on the driver's seat.

Yep. Does look that way. But maybe he will recover still / get second wind.

too early to tell fellas if AC is fried from the Giro or Evans form is really that good. Wait for stages 12-14, then we'll see.

That's cos Rui wasn't speaking Portuguese.

Maybe Paul does know it. But we'll have to wait to find out.
