I stand by my hypothesis that he has bird shot stuck in his brain. I caught hell from that on the other page, but I have yet to see it refuted.

I repeat - she showed loyalty and dedication to a man who was half dead only to be dumped like a useless trash when time came for armstrong to pay some dues.

How do you know this is what happened? From what I have read they have a good relationship. Kinda hard to believe that if he treated her like you claim.

In addition, none of us knows the real story behind why they split. As mind boggling as it is to some it is possible it was mutual, or even instigated by Kristin.

I don't think it was either mutual or instigated by her if it broke her up to the point where she was driven to this.

You ever know anyone in chemo? Believe me after chemo finding the cancer going into remission was not the worst part of his life. The worst part was before he met her. I tried to use little words for you to help sort this out

flicker's "pseudocare for the mother of armstrong's children" for depositing her. if he cared so much he could examine all the time line for their wedding and divorce and pass a judgment as to how nice it was divorcing a woman that married a half dead man with no clear prospect for long life and so on.

So long as trek met the minimum standards of the contract, I don't see a reason as to why Trek should be obligated to push a brand they don't feel is lucrative. That's business.

If Trek has a contractual obligation to support the brand they have to do so or they face penalties. In this case Lemond has presented plenty of evidence that shows that Trek stopped meeting even the minimum standards of the contract with 4 years left on the agreement.

Telling your dealers that you are no longer supporting the brand in 2004, when there is still 4 years left on the agreement is not what most rational people would call "supporting the brand". The fact that with a over a year left on the agreement Trek stopped all marketing of the Lemond brand and did not included them in Interbike or Trek World is not what most would call support.

Just because they decided to choose to not market the LeMond brand doesn't qualify it for not satisfying the contract minimums. If LeMond had it figured they were missing a critical market opportunity, it seems as if he was free to move the brand and reposition it as he saw fit. Why not do that?
