Kayle was the victim of his own stupidity, bragging about it and taking pics of it in his own hands and in front of other people. that's pretty strong evidence

I thought this "was the USA" and needed more evidence - so hearsay and a foto of a hand are all it needs.....

Dang LA is in bigger trouble than I thought - at least the Feds aren't involved.

The most tested ahtlete of his time and not a single dirty test, just speculation and inuuendo, no bags of blood, no coded name for his dog etc. nothing to tie him to anything. This is the USA, we like more concrete evidence

Dude, I am sorry, but this post is WAYYYY too 2005 for me to respond. Your copy of "Lovestrong: Internet Forum Handbook" is only a first edition. You need a newer version because the new fanboy mantra is "everyone was doing it and I don't care anyway because he talks about cancer a lot."

Lance's actions are destroying his life. The victims of his lies and vindictiveness should not be blamed. Its like saying the kids yelling are responsible for their dad burning them with a cigar. Take your formulaic post to whatever hole Armstrong has left as a fan forum.

thats a crazy statement your obviously take things which your not involved with personally and why do you assume everyone is an la fan if they have an opinion not in line with yours grow up.

Maybe there is a point to this thread, you guys are on a roll. Funny stuff.

Wait a minute, I said the thread had no point and then I came back to read it. Damn it, I ate the troll bait again!

Public Strategies,

A better strategy would be to join and ask about cycling advice or talk about racing in general -- you know, build up some forum credibility -- and then at 50 or so posts out, have your intern tell us how bitter and jealous Lemond is.

Here, I'll help you out (just cut & paste):

Post 1: Cance has no shot at all of winning the prologue if it rains (80% chance last I checked). Wiggins FTW!

Post 2: Who's going to get the new carbon Dura-Ace pedals spd-7900. They're 30 grams lighter and SA-WEET!
.
.
.
Post 50: Been a member here for a while and thought I just chime in that Lemond is BITTER, JEALOUS, FAT MAN. Lance has never tested positive. And he's doing the good work of bring cancer awareness to the masses. [just continue talking points].

See, that was pretty easy.

...you have an unhealthy obsession my friend...the vehemence, condescension and outright hostility you display in your posts is in no way constructive...judging by your post count i can appreciate that you can't control your urge to put matters to right particularly where Lance Armstrong is concerned...understand that fans "blind" to the evidence of Armstrong's guilt will be just as vehement in their disagreement...many have less invested in the personal destruction of the man...the cute but insulting "fanboy" jabs only further illustrate the level of disdain/intellectual arrogance displayed by many here at the merest mention of something pertaining to Lance Armstrong...for the majority of fans ignorance is bliss, especially fans stateside...you're going to need an industrial size bag of indignation to beat down positive perceptions of LA...maybe you have that, like i said, your post count is rather high...

...many here are approaching "Lemond" levels of obsessive behavior about this guy...i don't personally like Contador all too much but i'm not gnashing my teeth together on a daily basis in a caustic ritual of bashing everything related...life's too short for that crap...if you believe in karma then Armstrong will get his, whatever it ends up being...

...do i want to see clean performances?...bet your life but the realist in me acknowledges that where corporations, sponsorships, careers and money are involved there will always be those who'll seek to circumvent procedure for their own benefit...that little space we carve for ourselves in life becomes something so precious to some that moral relativity becomes a true survival instinct...and they'll bend it in whatever way to maintain that space...human nature, as ugly and reprehensible as that may be to some...

...in the end, this is entertainment, not life-altering...doping be damned, these guys still ride longer and harder than most of us ever will...personal pontification on the soap-box because we demand the highest levels of character from athlete's, who's livelihood depends directly on performance, is placing too much faith in something as flawed as a human being...cynical?...maybe...but i'm a realist...i've lived long enough to realize that "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak"...

Death by heart failure: a minor inconvenience.

good point...i suspect that the diuretics that have been historically used had a lot more to do with cardiogenic pumonary edema than with achieving a lighter weight...

Hey, where can I get my refund for the psychoanalysis? I am not trying to be constructive.

This is a forum on cycling, and I post in may threads. I will also note that many people have come to forums just like this as fans of The Uniballer, and transformed into people who can see when the sun is shining. As for intellectual arrogance, well, you are displaying some there yourself Freud. The sense of irony so present in the greatest minds is missing from yours. I don't know where you get a refund for something like that?

Yes I know what left sided heart failure is, also known as CHF, I deal with it everyday in the ICU how about you? Diuretics such as Furosemide and other loop diuretics are some of the drugs used to treat pulmonary edema. Your serve child

Dig from LeMonde

I'm not a fanboy of anyone, but check this quote out from LeMond...

"My Lance Armstrong prediction? Either he will not start or he will pull out just before the race enters France. I have a feeling that the world of cycling is about to change for the better."

How do you like that disguised dig to LA from Lemond? In an article entitled "The art of Peaking" he comes up with this lamest of predictions. My prediction (and it just mat be proven wrong) is that at the very least, LA will complete his last tour just to spite LeMond and even Tout Monde.
