20 riders manage to take 10 minutes on the bunch on what should have been a simple day in Poland. most of the main contenders where there. BDC take the stage win (their first of the year) and the leaders jersey with Adam Wadecki

Spare me. I realize this. I was just expecting Shalunov to have a high finish. I'm obviously not new to the sport since I know who these guys are.

Yea, good to see. A bit of an odd time in the calendar for a normal non-Olympic year though. I'm hoping that the Vuelta goes back to its normal time as of next year but the Volta stays a week later, because not clashing with Burgos is a good way to get hold of some of the Italian ProConti teams and Spanish Conti teams that couldn't do both. It might be a bit close to the Volta in a normal year, but any new and interesting races joining the Portuguese calendar are welcome given how many races we've lost in the last five years.

Like you say, under the current circumstances, a new race is very welcomed.
