Yh, that's how I interpreted Boeckmans hand gesture when he was talking with the commissaires during the race.

An impressive performance by Blythe to get back from a late mechanical and come second. If he hadn't had to chase back he would have been closer to Bouhanni, but obviously not so much that he'd have been a real threat. That was a very big gap.

Of the top ten, he's the only one in the top 200 on PCS. Some riders ranked 500-600. I don't know if I've seen such a big sprint gap that wasn't caused by something in particular like a crash. Cool to see such a race televised though.

Kevin Rivera is debuting for Androni in Europe this weekend. An 18 year old Costa Rican who is a similar case to Bernal. Also a former mountainbiker and just as a high VO2 max. Looking forward to it.

Is there some kind of "rule" in the Napoleon Games that they have to empty their podium-beers in one go? Didn't Keisse also do it at le Samyn? Though, I don't think I've seen a race winner attempt it.

The race has a rather interesting field, lots of interesting young riders.
It's also Ciccone's first race after his heart surgery.
