Richie so close.
He could've won this if he timed his sprint better I think. But very good performance, first time I see him live and he didn't disappoint to say the least. :)

Team Cannonfail strikes again.
Yes, at least Androni tried to play the numbers game.
That was a good race, but the Italian commentators weren't exactly great.
Strong showing by Androni, 2 riders in the top 5 and Gavazzi won the reduced bunch sprint for behind them.

Clássica da Arrábida (1.2)

1 Amaro Antunes (W52-FC Porto)
2 Sérgio Paulinho (Efapel)

A rollercoaster through Serra da Arrabida south of Lisbon. Logan Owen of Axeon Hagens Berman again with a promising and strong showing. He won four out of five GPMs from a small group.

The last 2,5k were uphill with a gradient of 7,5%. It started with the 1,4k long Estrada da Cobra which is on quite rough sterrato, followed by a short section of old cobbles in Palmela. Antunes attacked hard on the sterrato and was able to get another victory.

Just out of curiosity, which Hansen? It's DDWV we're talking about, right? So I assume it isn't Jesper; not really a classic guy. And is Astana even in this race?
Adam?

Oh, okay. I know I'm a bit obsessed with this, but this is kinda like with Cort and Valgren, just call him Norman, then everyone knows who it is. :)

Yes, at least Androni send Bernal on the attack twice while Cattaneo was waiting for the sprint. Carapaz was really strong, he started the sprint way too early and still finished 2nd.
Mühlberger finished 12th, that's a good result for him but maybe Bora should have send one of their riders on the attack, they had 3 guys in the top 20 and Benedetti was just a bit behind with Nibali and Foliforov.
