Fairly impressive sprint by Cort today:

Last few meters.
Magnus looks a bit like Degenkolb when sprinting, very powerfull and a lot of movement in the upper body. Im glad to see him do this well - he seems comfortable in Spain. ;)

What happened to Ulissi in Laigueglia?

Everyone deserves a second chance. And these things happen, I'm amazed by what he accomplished so far.

Beside he had clear extenuating circumstances. I might have acted the way he did if I were him.

Got to know about his father, reading Fignon's book. Sounded like a fun guy.

Sure. I'm just pointing out that while I didn't know what I was expecting the interesting part to be... that definitely wasn't it.

Yeah that's not what you expect. Hard to judge if you don't know any details whatsoever.

Do you maybe know when did they get away? Anyway, it seems Mohoric has improved.

From the UAE team website:
The Slovenian cyclist from UAE Team Emirates realized an incisive performance in the final part of the 2nd stage of the French race, 169,6 km from Miramas to La Ciotat, joining togethwer with the team mate Valerio Conti an attack of other 3 riders at 20 km to the arrival.

UAE Team Emirates had chosen the final kilometers of the stage as the key point where to try to anticipate the bunch sprint and the duo Mohoric-Conti carried out this plan following an attack by Geniez, Dennis and Edet on the last climb of the stage.

Also Mohoric tried a solo attack in the final kms knowing he didn't have a chance to win in a sprint. He is having a pretty good start of the season. It's nice to see he is improving and beginning to show some of his talent.

Malori DNF today in Alentejo. I wonder how his recovery is going, hopefully he bounces back some day.

I wonder why Amaro Antunes is not riding here considering his good shape even though the route doesn't suit him so well.

Nice startlist for a 2.1 race with lots of young guns like Adrien Costa, Figueiredo, Aguirre, Narvaez, Powless, Schultz, Carapaz or Hirt.
