Yeah, I thought the same while watching. If Alpecin were still grey, it would have been a perfect situation. But it's still quite good.

I suppose if some of these guys are a bit shy, they might not wanna get caught on camera with wet white shorts.
Hiding inside the middle of the peloton does not exactly scream "performance"...

I prefer the dark.

And I cant see how the light won't clash with the race jerseys as in sure it looks fine in a studio with proper lighting and dark backgrounds, how does it look in sunlight on roads, in a bunch, covered in dirt, sweat, mud, rain etc.

Surely the point of the rule is to make the race jerseys stand out, not for teams to gamify it

Well quite its closer to white, so does the young rider classification jersey clash not count anymore ? At least movistar break theirs up with lots of blue.

Interesting update on the vote, its split 52-48 % in favour of light, though us Brits know votes that close are always contentious #votedark

But they've shown the result with a light top half and a dark bottom half, basically merge the two roughly where the bike logo part sits.

And you know what it looks million times better like that than either kit standalone and I do wonder if thats what we'll get in the end.
