I feel embarrassed for the many four man teams who finished behind the one and a half man Sky team.
Gazprom finished behind them, that's a bit of a surprise.

Not much luck for Skujins today.

After almost getting taken out on the final climb, dropping the chain, stopping I just missed the from group by 20m over the top. Gave my all to the finish, but just couldn't make it back.Disappointed is an understatement

Footage of the 'queen' stage: https://www.facebook.com/PMGliveSport/videos/1265279293527862/

Skujins almost taken out at 35 minutes or so.

Tour de Taiwan (2.1) finishes tomorrow.
Edwin Ávila has won first (flat) and fourth (queen stage) stages but sits 3rd in the GC
The reason being is that:
Stage 2: A small group of 30 had Avila and Pellaud from Team Illuminate... For some strange reason, Pellaud attacked and held it for 10Km, upon his capture, there was a counterattack at 5Km to go that was the winning move. Avila won the group sprint and lost the leader's jersey for 1 sec

Stage 3: Again a small group including Ávila, but this time is him who goes on attack at 15Km to the finish. He emptied himself but was caught at 5K to go, and lost 32 secs.

If you have the best sprinter in monster shape, how come the DS makes those silly mistakes?

Love Dutch commentating. Not understanding one bit! :D

Bit confusing with the constant jumping back-and-forth between the men and the women, though I guess that's what I asked for over in the Women's Racing thread. Probably gonna be easier to keep up if I understand the commentating...
