Kepplinger had a flat at the worst possible moment it seems
A flat at any moment in the first group is likely devastating.

Seems like Uno-X is pulling in the first group. They have lost Kulset but right now Dversnes would be moving up to 2nd in GC since I assume he is there and Holter would be 4th as well if he's there.

My stream finally started, I'm all here for the camel track! (Have to google how fast those animals can run and see if Merlier could contend in a camel race.)

It would be a surprise if the split did not come back, so early into the stage. Crosswind splits normally make it to the finish if it occurs in the last 50kms.

I am surprrised that Bahrain and Jayco don't drop one rider back from the first group to help the seocnd group.

Bahrain dropped all riders except of Bruttomesso from 1 to 2 group. Even van der Meulen who is 9th in GC there

Camel sighting, finally!

From the webs: Camels can run at up to 65 km/h (40 mph) in short bursts and sustain speeds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph). Bactrian camels weigh 300 to 1,000 kg (660 to 2,200 lb) and dromedaries 300 to 600 kg (660 to 1,320 lb).
