Van Poppel very easy. He didn't even win in the sprint; he took the lead before the corner, and that was enough.

A smart move by Van Poppel. You always have a chance to win this way if you have a sweeping turn within the last 300 metres because you can kick off the bend.

Bettiol lost over 40 seconds today. According to pcs he accelerated 5 kms to go on the last hill and managed to get dropped afterwards

He pulled the pack very strongly for a few kilometers, created small gaps in the bunch but then riders regrouped. Don't ask me what was the point of him working so much on this stage though.
