Brennan riding 1.2 races just a week ago lmao. And the way he won them already said enough. Kid is insane.

One of the better races this season too, very exciting. Was obviously hoping for a better Lotto result there in the end, but don't see what they could've done different. Kopecky and Brennan reacted to everything immediately.

Yes unfortunately Groves is the king of the miscellaneous Spanish sprint stage so will be hard to beat. Brennan in a spot at the moment where he isn't well known enough to be properly marked so will want to get a few wins together before they really cotton on, Gianni Vermeersch didn't know who he was in his interview.

I thought QuickStep didn't race yesterday but looking at the results they actually did. Best placed rider was Lamperti in 64th at nearly 4 minutes. Pretty abysmal.

I had hoped youngsters like Gelders and Vangheluwe could step up a level this year but so far they haven't really shown anything. I feel like Gelders was actually better last year than this year (so far).

Perhaps they all had bad luck/mechanicals at a bad time but it doesn't look great. I hope they can step up in the next races, maybe starting today. At least Lamperti should be in the mix.
