God damn how dumb can you be as commentator? Scaroni took 2 extra seconds earlier. So either Directvelo/PCS was wrong or you just don't do your job as a commentator

EDIT: so they finally realized

They didn't know. So Buitrago had no chance really. That simple. Scaroni was just stronger.

After the top of the climb, he should have stayed in the wheel of Scaroni. Best bet then was a bunch sprint where he would need to come 2nd (a long shot, but easier than dropping Scaroni on the flat mano a mano).

Struggling to understand the previous post.

Are you using the tweet as an analogy of somebody in incongruous surroundings whilst everybody pretends it is normal?

Mulu on his way to score 200 points against devo riders and amateurs without Astana having to do anything for it.

The fact that riders can score points for their main team while riding for a different team is probably one of the dumbest UCI rules. Can't blame Astana for abusing it tho.

O Gran Camiño (2.1) starts Wednesday 26th with 5 stages across Portugal and Spain. As there's only 2 WT teams (Movistar and QS) I suppose it's a "lesser known race".
(last year Vingegaard did the race and even with atrocious weather, won without breaking a sweat)

Startlist at https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/gran-camino/2025/startlist

roadbook at https://ograncamino.gal/libro-de-ruta

stage 1 -(in Portugal) Maia to Matosinhos189.7 km, start 13.00 CET, TV from 15.30 CET.

Groupama are also there, but yes, not a good start list at all.

Derek Gee is in good form according to Patrick Lanterne

Jefferson Alveiro Cepeda is in good form (and can tt too) according to myself

UNO-X have played another blinder by bringing Cort to a race with no sprinters and 2-3 stages that he can win, so naturally they will probably let some randos have a go from breakaways again.
