Can't really fault the UCI on this one, they want the best riders at the debut edition of the race, and it's not like the TDS organisers are waiting on tenterhooks to see how Jordi Meeus does in the MTT.

Well Bora did not have to start Meeus in the Tour De Suisse. That solves the problem.

Definitely a useless race, but if youre living in Copenhagen I guess its exciting just ahead of the Tour, having some beers and enyoying the whether on the route.

Watching Enrici today was horror. After looking good in the Daupine, relatively speaking at least, he comes up with this aneamic performance. Skjelmose clearly off form, he should just be able to ride off and win this easily. Obviously the shortening of the route didn't really help him, but..

Yes. I was at the finish line area both yesterday and today, and it was fantastic. Huge crowds, great atmosphere, many kids being hyped and getting into cycling. And of course cold beer and perfect weather.

Overall a great celebration of cycling in one of the top cycling cities.

The circuit race was good too. The break almost made it.

Dušan Rajović was forced to ride in Copenhagen instead of doing the Serbian RR. A fourth place or better at home would have scored Solution Tech more UCI points than he got in Denmark.

I just want to express my support for the notion that the Copenhagen sprint was an utterly superfluous addition to the WT calendar, but that the Andorra classic was enjoyable.
