Posted after Double was super strong at Slovakia that he could do well at either Croatia or Guangxi. Interesting that he's again finished a few spots ahead of Ujitebroeks. His next goal will be too ride a strong GT in 2026.

Weren't Jayco working quite a lot in the first 4 stages? Maybe they knew that by helping Magnier win the first 4 stages, they'd ensure that Double wins the 5th stage, and - very likely, the GC?

Hayter probably woke up this morning thinking it was another time trial and became sick once he saw the profile. Well it's not the worst race to have to abandon while being in the lead.

GC fight much simpler for Lidl-Trek now, entire team just needs to defend against The Greatest.

I'm a bit confused by Visma here. Do they realize Trek doesn't really need to reel in that break? Of course there's still tomorrow and Laporte might take a few seconds on Soderqvist by dropping him but...
