Okay they need to perhaps make the gravel a bit more hard pack. It's not dangerous or anything but it's so loose that it's quasi-sand like, and on a road bike that is so difficult

An attack can win him the race, pulling less likely to do so (when Wellens was relevant).

It was. The way you can spot that this isn't the gravel WC is that there's actual gravel in this race.
