Every year the same comment haha, would just ruin this race. Why change something that's close to perfect already every single year. Why would you want a more controlled race with possibly a way more predictable ending?
Did I comment this last year? If I did, crazy you remember.. didn't know I had true fans on this platfrom.

I think he was partly cooked and could not accelerate on a false flat, Ulissi was also struggling to corner as well
Of course he was partly cooked, but they all were. It was obvious that he went into the corners at a lower speed than Løland (gap between them increased in the last 50 meters into the corners), Løland took better lines and came out of the corners with more speed and higher speed. That was not about acceleration, this was just about the short period of time they barely pedaled before and during the corners.

No I ment in general obviously, not you specific. People always comment this after this one (and some other ones like Tro Bro Leon) cause those are always very entertaining races, but some of the reasons they are very entertaining is cause there aren't superstars at the start, it isn't that important cause no WT and it's less organized compared to WT race.

beautiful city to boot
It's a beautiful, beautiful place. My first time traveling there I was pleasantly surprised at being able to get along in German and English. Northern Italian food is epic.
Today's race was great. Only question I would have had was spectator house keeping.. I am just that way but if I was standing around waiting for the race I would have just involuntarily picked up some of the bigger rocks in the road on the gravel sections.. And I was impressed that when riders got fouled up, fans on the side of the road gave them a helpful tush push..

That's great to know!. Sometimes that idea that a city/region hosts a race finish to promote their tourism potential is true--I will hope to go to that area next time in Italy.

Thank god uae didn't win the ceneti classic. Never heard of loland but he already has my respect for this win . We must never give up in defeating uae for good, we can't let the satanic cabal dominati our sport. Sorry for my spelling, my friend keeps buying me drinks and is off season
