Excited to watch Adam Yates desperately struggle to hold the wheels of 195cm atrem nych and 1000-year-old alexis guerrin on the climbs.
He was part of some early season start lists but were then removed when the final lists came out so it was probably not planned to start this late.Guerin is in good form, but it's not fully in Portugal and he can't do a flat tt to save his life so who knows.
Does anyone know why Joseph Blackmore only starts his season on Friday? It's been like that since the start of the season as far as I know, I tried to find out months ago but no luck, couldn't find anything about any injuries, hopefully he's not been Lazkano'd.
Well, the reason for the change was that the organizer was very vocal last year and how bad their place in the calendar was because so few top teams wanted to some. So they got the move they were begging for and it looks even worse at this place in the calendar.I also don't understand the change, teams are too busy in this part of the season and even if the weather is a little better is still raining.
i also think its a case where less is more and 4 stages would attract a better startlistWell, the reason for the change was that the organizer was very vocal last year and how bad their place in the calendar was because so few top teams wanted to some. To be fair, the February timing was also causing all kinds of problems in terms of weather, they did really need a later slot.Well, the reason for the change was that the organizer was very vocal last year and how bad their place in the calendar was because so few top teams wanted to some. Ya, a race at this part of the calendar needs to build itself up to being a place where riders go who are preparing for something else that is close in time. Sort of like how Tour of the Alps is a popular build up race for the Giro. Nordhagen is using it ahead of his bigger goal which is Tour de Romandie.i also think its a case where less is more and 4 stages would attract a better startlist
then some patience and building a good reputation and relations with several teams before a more ambitious step up
can only hope to catch a single rider with 2 minutes between each starter thenRomeo should take the tt but stage 4 too hard for GC if Yates has any form, Nordhagen I think will podium, his legs were decent in Catalunya was just working as a dom.
Romeo has improved a bit since, but he only took a few seconds on him in a similar-ish tt in Romandie last year, so maybe it will be closer than I thought.can only hope to catch a single rider with 2 minutes between each starter then
If Richard Yates beats Nordhagen in the TT beware.Yates with a best time at 2nd intermediate. 13s ahead of Nordhagen. So UAE fans can relax for now.

The sheikhs have reduced the money and access to super potions and the UAE boys have all turned into panacooks.UAE fans might start to panic.
Finally we have an accurate name for the remco threadI still don't speak much of the language, but the Basque commentator said something about Evenepoel earlier and used a term that sounded like the Danish word for potato.
Nordhagen will be very hard to beat without moto or human draft.
