they had better starts when they won pn with boogerd, they had years where freire won msr and they had a year where t.dekker won tirreno
consider that a better start than winning small racesa
I remember two years ago Freire said "usually it's me who picks up the first win for Rabo, I feel lazy now". Freire, the legend. And uniquely for a Spaniard, not involved in any clinic issues (that I know of).

Nikita, why couldn't you do this when you were in my CQ team? Oh well, it's good that he seems to be getting over whatever was affecting him last year.

Apparantly it wasnt Novikov in 8th place. Novikov finished 99th 6 minutes down.

indeed i know about these but me personally i care about the shiit small races too and i don't remind rabo to ever win so many races in a start of the season.

of course when march and april will come, they might fade away

no no no Gesink will win PN and TGBM will win TA, with TAWK winning the TT's in PN and the Butcher winning the puncheur stages in TA. :)

And Bos will steal Cancellara's bike with the engine and win MSR

Thursday is GP Camaiore... Just look at the startlist, e.g. at Cyclingfever.com.

What´s so special about this 1.1 race on a Thursday in late February? The line-up is incredible, I was just "Wow?!"...

As it seems, however, still no licence for Meridiana. They wanted to start here, but don´t seem to do so. I guess it´s because the UCI wants to get rid of Sinkewitz.

Tradition > UCI silly 1.1 classification.

if you want a higher uci ranking then you have to pay uci and most races don't want that of course

which is of course a silly way of classifying races.
But I don't want anything anyway. I know camaiore will be a fun race no matter what number you put next to it.

it's not a silly way. that way organisers can decide themselves, many races don't even want. h.c, because then they cna only select a few ct teams to their race. good example is volta portugal and algarve

Ronde van Drenthe (1.1)

1. WETTERHALL Alexander NetApp – Endura
2. EICHLER Markus NetApp – Endura
3. SCHILLINGER Andreas NetApp – Endura
4. KREDER Wesley
5. VAN POPPEL Boy

That should be the Tour de France wildcard for NetApp.

I´d like it, but.. no way. Wildcards will be Cofidis, Sojasun, Europcar. Drenthe is too less important.

With just three wildcards to give, and having three so strong French teams, there´s hardly any doubt.

Hivert´s win in Andalucia e.g. counts a lot more, and with Hivert, Simon and others, they will deliver quite nice in Catalunya and so on.

Cofidis and Europcar are almost 100%, anyways.

Cqranking has Danny van Poppel, rather than Boy van Poppel as 5th, which would be a nice result considering Danny is from '93 :p

Nokere yesterday was cancelled, what about Handzame tomorrow? Anyone knows if it will take place?
It will. The snowy peaks of Flanders have been taken out though, it's all flat now.

Thanks, appreciated. :)

So let´s hope the weather gods stay calm on Turchino, in Catalunya and at Waregem, and spring is what it´s meant to be.

Enough cancellation for the next four or five years, if you see the last weeks.
