christopherrowe said:Aaaaaand, he comes it with a 6'09''35''' on the 4.5 kilometer course, not good enough to crack the provisional top 30. Final results should be available momentarily.
christopherrowe said:This is weird. Both Dazed and Confused and I are obviously trying to post the podium or top five or something and the posts are being truncated at the same spot. One more try...
Edit: Nope, didn't work that time either. Don't know what's going on. Anyway, the results are at procyclingstats and elsewhere.

What kind of a parcours does this race have? Any chance for Mathieu to take the overall?
1. Engoulvent
2. Senechal
3. Van Der Poel
4. Teunissen
5. Nauleau

Dazed and Confused said:Still cutting words off...
christopherrowe said:Bah. There's a climb called the Montaigu in this race that averages 10%.
Dazed and Confused said:21km to go, riders scattered in three groups. On the small circuit now.
christopherrowe said:Wow, that was pretty chaotic to follow. But it looks like Armindo Fonseca just picked up his first professional win, in advance of his probable participation in the Tour de France. I think there were still three groups on the road, but I'm not sure. Most of the World Tour riders were in the main group, which was about three minutes down in the closing circuits at one point.
christopherrowe said:Looks like the peloton came in five minutes back? But Dumoulin was up there, finishing tenth on the stage. Mike Teunissen of Rabobank Development team to take yellow.
Edit to add: The Teunissen kid has some nice results on his palmares. He just won the Paris-Roubaix Espoirs and it looks like he can time trial. 21. Maybe a name for the future. Heck, maybe a name for the present.
Maaaaaaaarten said:Note that Teunissen is a guy from CX. Former u23 world champion.
He started getting some decent results on the road last year and it looks like he stepped up quite a bit this year. He had a horrible CX season this winter, which was mostly due to a string of bad luck. But if he keeps on performing like this, I wonder if he'd want to switch to the road. I hope he can also get some succes in CX again though.
Anyway, it'd be very nice if Teunissen wins. Almost as nice as Van Der Poel ftw.![]()
