Schlegel and co keeping up with Aru. Looks like Oberösterreich Rundfahrt is as good as the Dauphine for preparing for July races.

Schlegel was always a good climber, I'm surprised that he didn't get a contract a pct level.
Guerin and Zoidl are your typical CT sputniks, they also ride for the "shadier" Austrian CT teams.

Moran Vermeulen is the older brother of the Austrian XC skier Mika.

Eh what it's a great race that's always very competitive and fun. Usually some rider gets noticed every year as well, this time I predict Michal Schlegel will finally go to a big team. Also spell better.

The goods news is that the Tour of Qinghai Lake has actually started. The bad news is that it's only Chinese teams (2 from Hong Kong, the rest from the mainland, sadly none from the real China) with Chinese riders. With the Chinese Covid restrictions that's probably the only way to still have a race.

The worse news is I can't find Lyu Xianjing on the startlist either, the most promising young rider in all of East Asia.

China will reopen International Sporting events from September - After all they need to prepare for the 2022 Winter Olympics in February.

The Settimana Ciclista Italiana gets underway today, a 5 day Giro di Sardegna in effect, which is organised by the GS Emilia group. Looks like it basically consists of a hilly stage today, and then four stages which have a bunch of obstacles in the middle but a flat run-in so will be a durable sprinter-fest, although there is an 800m @ 7% ramp at 35km from the finish of stage 3 and 25km from the finish of stage 5 which might be of use.

However, since Amore e Vita are there, the obvious question is, "on which stage will Stefano Pirazzi attack?" To which the answer, of course, is "yes".

Do Amore e Vita even sign riders who haven't had to deal with clinic related stuff before?
