That's the most ridiculous relegation I've seen in a good while, perhaps not entirely coincidental that it comes when the home rider finishes second. GC battle also over unless Kooij gets dropped tomorrow.

Thanks!
They already had a stupid finish yesterday, this race is really worthless...Why though? He deviates a bit when following the Ineos guy and gets in the way of Kooij's leadout, but Kooij's was already out of the slipstream.
He then swerves to take the inside of the turn but that is what organizers are asking for when they put not so subtle bends on the last hundred meters of sprint stages.

So in Austria right now is the Oberösterreichrundfahrt and the past few editions have started with a prologue in Linz. CX rider Daran Soete won it and he also won it last year. His teammate Lander Loockx finished 2nd after also finishing 2nd last year! They did go slightly slower though with Soete 1s slower and Loockx 2s slower despite PCS does give a difference in course length of 0.65km compared to the whopping great big distance of 0.7km in 2021.
Looking at Strava Duarte and Duban went flying on the final climb, but still only 1:30 faster than Cadena, whho had been in the breakaway all day long, on an almost 100min climb.Duarte's only a minute and a half down now...
Well, we all know we can't trust that result to stand...
Viviani lost to Danish CT guy Salby who hadn't scored a top-3 in any professional race before, ouch.
Interesting that BEX are last minute additions to Elfstedenronde Brugge and Dwars De Het Hageland - They must have convinced the organisers !
