This is the kind of finish that should be illegal. It seems like a fantasy to believe that a peloton of that caliber could have navigated it without accident.

It is ridiculous, it always have been but nobody cared because it was just a few french teams and 2 or 3 other WT teams participating in it with 2nd tier sprinters. That being said, the crash happend just before the downhill part and due too Kluge making the whole peloton swerve to the left, BEX rider clipped Ewans wheel because of it. Kind of a dangerous move from Kluge (even tho this happens a million times in every race) and the Bex rider probably paying attention to something else at that moment.

The Kluge move happened about a km after the crash - Groenewegen did well to not crash.

Tour of Luxembourg starts today, same finale as the opening stage last year, which was won by Almeida (in a better field than we have now - the Canadian races being back have hurt this one).

Also starting today is the Okolo Slovenska, another disappointingly easy route for a fairly mountainous country so today's prologue will play a key role in the GC.

Both races will be broadcast live, with a packed one-day race calendar this is the only day that neither race clashes with anything else. Indeed, they don't even clash with each other as the prologue in Slovakia starts in late afternoon and Luxembourg should finish decently early.

Over in Luxembourg, we got a sexy guy, an oak, a wolf, a lakefarm, and a... financier (I'm not sure...) on the attack.
But they're close to being caught, though. Just over 10 Ks to go.

I don't understand small stage races that don't have super hard stages but do have a long TT. Isn't it just Thomas that's gonna win this and Skjelmose 2nd probably?

The prologue in Slovakia is on road bikes for some reason. QS teenager - and home rider - Svrcek had the fastest time, but has been bested by Morkov (and Van Belle).
