Maëva Squiban (another French woman who wears glasses) won the ITT in Ardèche. Apparently she tried to bridge across to the front group alone on stage 1, but was slowed down by a puncture, and it took a while for her to get a new wheel, so it's not a surprise her shape is still quite good.

De Jong increased her lead as expected, but Bunel might still be the strongest climber in the race, and Arkéa has the strongest team, so nothing is decided yet.
 
Vollering all alone in the finish with no Kopecky or NFB. Shows how the situation is at the moment.

I wonder if Vollering will atack her own teammate tomorrow who is in the lead at 2 secs.

Also in her interview after the finish she said that she wants to win and hope that the DS plays a neutral role in stage 3 and let the riders fight against each others.

The post UCIWWT shared is an intriguing insight into team relations.

Demi saying yeah it's always been strange to sprint against your teammates

Lotte saying well there were only two of us so logic says we can sprint it out.
