Balsamo was also on the limit. Pieterse maybe the strongest of that group and a solid 4th chocolat place again.

However can't help feel G2 could have chased that down, how does Kopecky who got dropped several times in this race, still end up 2nd !?!?

I'm sure Mischa wont mind...

as for talking up Balsamos chances at the Ronde VV if she can't out sprint an off day Kopecky, on a flat sprint. #shrugsshoulders

Kopecky doesn't know why she didn't felt great today. Some moments she wanted to let go but could hang on again.
Not overtraining.

Maybe she's lighter again for the hill classics with a different approach in training. Doesn't look good for Sunday.

It's possible and it also helps that none of their competitors are looking insanely strong (and that Vollering is at altitude).

You gotta remember Kopecky was the 7th strongest rider in the World's and only won because she got dragged back by Dygert.
