Lotto have really suffered from losing De Jong (although they were unlucky that Mieke Dockx was caught by the peloton in Omloop), so De Keersmaeker's performance here is a great news for them. Also, a major result for Stina Kagevi to be able to hold on in a race like this.

Some teams should really pay attention who is in the race and who is not. This was almost a face palm how much work Trek, Liv Alula and SD Worx did to catch ELB and Vos said thank you for second place. Visma did basically nothing in this race.

Saw Mieke at the team bus. Told us she’s still hurting from the crashes but wanted to start in Belgium before taking a rest. She knew it would be too hard but she tried and gave her all. The encouragements when she passed was insane. Everyone knows her. And such a lovely person.

On the first Moskes she was just before the ambulances, suffering. I knew she would DNF at the end of the lap.

It's going to be brutal when the full stages are announced. Redcar and Saltburn are like, five kilometres apart and both could have some really interesting North Yorkshire Moors terrain leading into them (Saltburn also could have a mini-Hatta Dam type finish with a very short but very steep uphill run into the town from the seafront), so when they announce the usual "very challenging stage" with all the obstacles 60km from the line it'll be doubly upsetting.

I think there's a good chance however that the last stage will either be a circuit race or will finish on a circuit of at least an approximation of the recent World Championships course and that was really good for racing, so fingers crossed.

The Saltburn finish will be identical to the nationals course they've used the past two years

And I suspect they'll use the same route just lead into it from Redcar instead

Glasgow will just be the World champs circuit part, so another crit to finish.

I'm undecided whether I'll go spectate, it's a long way from my part of the UK but it will be Lizzie Ds last UK race so maybe...

Erica Magnaldi won in Chambéry (her first victory in over 6.5 years!), thus making sure one UAE rider crossed a finish line first today. Mona Mitterwallner getting her first ever road podium after a tough MTB campaign in Brazil in the first half of April was a nice surprise to me, and I'm also happy to see Léa Curinier getting a top 3.

Paternoster was disappointing in the final, in saying that, she did well to get to the finish. Think Liv Alula played the wrong card in the final, as they should heve been riding for Colonel who was strong.
Talked to her at the team bus. She missed an important part of pre-season training due to the crash at the first team camp and the crash in Sanremo. She is missing some base endurance and worked hard in training to get in the best shape possible for the classics. She had only 5k done on the bike (with knowing that, I had done 4k as an amateur at that point). So I’m just happy she made the finals in most of her races, gave everything and logically exploded a couple times. A shame another classics season done with a disrupted training schedule. Next year I expect her to make another step.

She’s doing the Vuelta in 2 weeks. Hasn’t raced a lot this year. This could help her base get better again. Hopefully maybe a stage win.

I was aware of the training camp crash. I am glad that she is doing the Vuelta because she is a chance of a stage victory. I hope they bring her to Australia next year because of the reintroduction of the Herald Sun Tour there is a nice block of racing in which she can snag a win or two.

If you can't get enough of cycling, Ronde de Mouscron is on today as well.
It's also on even if you have gotten enough of cycling.

Live images to start soon on Max (and its associated channels.)

We have images, no clue how close they are to the finish.

53ish Ks to go.
Break has a little over a minute.

Let that sink in; we got live images with over 50 Ks to go - probably over 60 - yesterday, in AGR, we got live images with a little over 30 Ks to go.
One of these races is a WorldTour race...
Yes, I was frustated that we didnt saw how the break was established in AGR.

Ceratizit doing the Astana thing? Finishing 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

The red-ish teams definitely dominated.
