We have the Midwest Cycling Classic on the schedule for today, which isn't an American race despite its name, while other riders will already be making their way back to Genova in the Giro dell'Appennino Donne.

My luke warm picks are whoever VolkerWessels decide to ride for in Belgium, and the newly educated doctor Kim Too Many Names in Italy.

Looks like I won't be right about Le Court winning in Genova. Now we have Persico, Gery, Van Dam, Brand, NFB and Chladoňová together in front with 10 km left. The Visma duo has worked to bring back Persico, Gery and Brand, which has allowed NFB to sit on, but she isn't exactly the best in the world on the flat. Trinca Colonel has broken free from G2, but has around 30 seconds to make up.

The race is live on YT, by the way. 5-6 km remain, and Trinca Colonel is not getting closer.

Van Dam is the favourite in a flat sprint, but you never know who has the most left.

Chladoňová ride off course, and Persico rides a non clean sprint to cross the line first. My first impression is that she should be relegated.

Uneken takes it, despite Alzini celebrating on the line. The Italian loses out to VolkerWessels for the second year in a row. Hesters takes the last podium spot, and Kaja Rysz once again shows that it's ridiculous that she doesn't have a pro contract anymore.

Vos didn't get the chance to win yesterday, but Lea Fuchs won this year's Eröffnungsrennen in Leonding today, ahead of Petra Zsanko and Tabea Huys.

Puck Pieterse and Marthe Truyen did the Ronde recon today with Millie Couzens. They did a QOM attack on the Koppenberg and Couzens went 10" faster than Vollering's first time. She was also 8th in Omloop. A strong teammate for Puck in the upcoming classics.
