let's not forget costa

or did something happened to him?

Movistar tweeted that Rojas and Visconti were their men up at the front. Don't know if they just mean the front few, or the whole front group though.

Freire and Mollema are moving to the front.

Hesjedal and Sanchez are there, just like (as libertine said) Rojas.

Rojas should really win more for all the talent he has.

Not really, he's a full-on jack of all trades, master of none, at the élite level. If it's a bunch sprint, there's always a faster sprinter or a better supported sprinter than him. If it's a reduced sprint, he picks up a decent amount of wins, but he won't beat eg Sagan. If it's a punchy finish, there's always a punchier climber than him left.

Hence he racks up the 5th places, but not many wins.

Actually me and the guys I go biking with had a similar idea - go out drinking heavily for the night, and then race up a hill in the morning. First one over the top without puking wins

It sounds like he's positioned to be a TdF green jersey winner!

Gilbert looking stellar. BMC showing something at last.
But they need to finish this off.

BMC may have strung out the peloton, but it is still a very large group. With the possible exception of Valverde, have any other contenders been dropped yet?

Martinez (eusk) and Madrazo (movi) have been ejected from the race for failing to follow the official course.

Scarponi in the bunch as well, fairly surprising if you look at Trentino.
T-Blanc back in the peloton.
