Robo Remco Robotnik and his Death Egg laid waste to the peloton once again

Looks like the Death Egg has a bit more power this year compared to last year. As Bruyneel said, no reason to even hold the Giro as it is going to be a slaughter

I keep repeating myself, but I dropped Buitrago with ease on the Worlds recon in Leuven.
Missed opportunity for podium here.

Remco looks like a different rider but the Giro is another animal altogether; that said Remco is obviously ready for the fight.

Konrad showing why he should have been Boras Ardennes guy. Really not sure what there plan was. Konrad for sure would have top-10ed Fleche Wallone as well.

Now there placings were AGR - 12th Hindley, FW - 67th Denz, LBL - 8th Konrad (second best Bora rider not in the top 30).

I get why he lost his spot as GC leader there with Hindley, Valsov, maybe Higuita. But as long as Schachmann does not rise from the ashes like a phoenix he for sure would have been their best man in the Ardennes classics.

He had to go early, because he was never likely to get anything out of the sprint, but it did look a bit like he didn’t give it 100%.
Yes, he had to try but it looked so half hearted and when they immediately were at his whell again, he just kept pulling.

Congrats to remco, he did as expected and was a monster. We were however robbed of great entertainment tonight. Such a shame.

I really don‘t enjoy the new cycling normal. Big 6 are just too far away, feels wrong and a bit pointless. He started goofing and chillaxing so far out when the normals were having a fantastic fight which just didn‘t really matter (here its about Remco, Same goes for the pogi and wout/Laporte Shows). Fun when there are 2 or 3 mutants but The Solo Shows are tiring at this point

So cograts to Remco on a great ride and victory! There was no doubts who was the best today. The finale was anticlimatic though and the suspence was gone once the Cold Weather Monster crashed.

A race with only one alien is much less interesting than a race with 2 or 3. Pogacar would have made it interesting. I think even WVA or MVDP could have threatened the podium.
Pro cycling, and especially the classics, at the moment really needs that more than one of these four shows up and finish without accidents. If there is only one of them, we get races like AGR last weekend and today's race.
