Anyone got any news or rumour about what's going to happen with those riders that had switched from Radioshack to leopard prior to the merger? Especially those that switched to leopard to get away from the structure of Radioshack

Anyone out there with a copy of L'Equipe?

Apparently there is a story about Hog trying to sell Brajkovik's contract??

Anyone have more information?

Gracias.

Astana are supposedly willing to take over Brajkovic if Bruyneel pays part of his salary. Rumour has it Janez does not feature in Bruyneel's plans anymore and Bruyneel needs to get rid of him anyways to make the 30 riders cut. Astana are also reported to have approached Fuglsang.

I think the "CSE collapsed" is the only consolation you have left after Johan and team structure is still around.

As far as I understand CSE will still play a big role in Team RaNT, as they will lead all marketing operations. It appears they are no longer the license holders but have not collapsed or folded per se. Luxembourg newspaper Tageblatt calls it "Texas sagt wo's lang geht":

I wonder if the Schleck's and Cancellara, Fugelsang, etc are still friends after this fiasco.

Good question ...

I believe Rast will stay because as far as I know he had no problems with Bruyneel. He was recruited to assist Cancellara and nothing has changed (so far...) about that. Even if Cancellara leaves though I guess Rast would stay. Hermans is a different story though - he might want to leave, but I don't know if he'll be able to.

Christen, I appreciate your input here. You have some great links and are an excellent source of info on this story.....But you do realize that link is from 3 weeks ago? Since then Becca has made it clear who is in charge and that the marketing will be managed in Lux.

Good to hear Jani might find a home. If the Astana offer is less then his contract with CSE then CSE would have to make up the difference

This tweet from September 12th might be a more accurate representation of his views regarding the merger:

That was the last thing I remembered hearing about CSE ... since almost every day there seems to be new conflicting information I might have missed some though

If he said something that fits your world, or the slighest sign of critic, it would be no joke or humor for sure.
Now it's a sarcastic joke of course. Or did you make a demanding, sarcastic joke ?
But no way. Humor and RR don't fit together. At least demanding humor.

Move on. Nothing to see here. Time for the next episode.

Who was that ? Sources ? Real sources that state exactly that ?
You mean Hermans I guess. Haters trying to lay words in his mouth quiet for a long time.
Hermans was unhappy with his program, not beeing selected for races he wanted to ride, or mainly GTs. Cycling is not wonderland where everyone can be satisfied and happy.
For haters, RS has to be wonderland. Heavy doublestandards.

Levi recently thanked and praised RS, btw. :D
I guess that was ignored here. Very clever. Doesn't fit.

This is getting more and more funny with you guys....really. :)
You make Hollywood conspiracy movies out of.......just transfers or team changes. Total horror. Poor riders.

RS-CIS.

Good call on that. UHC is building quite a solid ProCont team.

Very solid. Nice to see a team that provides a good marketing platform for it's sponsor. Very important these days

He thanked the sponsor, RS CMO Lee Applebaum.....funny how he forgot to mention the owners of the team, Lance, Stapleton, Knaggs, and Johann. Wonder why?

Does anyone actually read Cobblestoned's posts?

If one of my greatest fans steps in again! careing about me again!, thats a good sign that I make sense.
You care a lot about me. Thank you for reading my posts. :D

I have many good conversations and mates around here. Come over it, dear fan.
I just have to adapt to the level, when there are threads where you guys show up. Mostly LA and RS threads. No problem for me. Switch switch.

RR, you really still mean this serious what you spread here ?

Oh man, dude. Have a break please. Better for everyone.
“special thanks to Team RadioShack for its support and enthusiasm during two of my most successful seasons.”

This reminds me if that "Lance didn't congratulate Levi". "Wrong. This clearly shows...blabla."
We all know what happened. He sometimes did, and also did recently, than it was of course wrong, too. lol

Haters building their own world and logics again. But Levi didn't thank Johan, and Lance, and.....the busdriver.

Ahahhahahah. Need to ride now. Tears of joy.

I try to sometimes, them give up in utter confusion.

Yeah, says a guy who doesn't know Petrus and Paulus in connection with the weather. A nazi fits better of course. So much about confusion.

I like it how you guys help each other and gang up now. World in order.
Not a nice effort by you, btw. I thought we got along each other quiet well after you lost your fear.
But right now you fell in my back to gain some reputation. Not a nice move, after we had some normal discussions.

It's ok. You have to do what you have to. You should never try to go into the breakaway for next 100 to 1000 years.

I am not getting involved in your discussions, but you have to be carefull with theese kinds of statements, because acording to Godwin's law, you have now lost the discussion, and it must therefore end. :p

I find it odd that in reading this thread that cobblestoned is seeming to make more sense and be more reasonable then those he's arguing with.

That's not common... but that's how it looks right now. I think the RS/Bruyneel/Lance hatred has been taken way too far in this thread for that to be possible.

You are right about today. :D
But he started things first a few days ago.

Anyway, I now feel guilty at all. Just for today.

I liked his comment about the haters winning the team competition of this thread, that was pretty funny.

Personally I think the ones that behaved worst in this story are Becca and Burke ....

So if a poster points out something negative they are a "Hater" We should just ignore it?

Becca indeed looks like a dirtbag, but do not forget that CSE told it's riders and staff for months that they had a team next year.....when they knew they were not going to have a license. They already knew before the Tour that they were not going to be around next year.

The riders and staff who are out of work, searching for a team for next year, are CSE employees, not Leopard.
