You're a fan too, then?

I'm a fan of cycling nothing to do this afternoon but not of Andy, Johan or the Leopard/Radioshack proyect:p

I never had empathy with Andy. Before Tour 2008 I heard of him so I saw him closely, and I tought he was a fresh air but his final trash talk to Sastre deserved win let me down, but since Sastre wasn't the nicest rider of the business not take into account.

In 2009 he won the LBL so I had nothing agaisnt him, but at the spanish stage in Pla de Beret he can't follow Contador and made up an excuse of the motorbikes speeding him but at Verbier again was outclimbed.

In 2010 the chaingate, the cobled stage, the Cancellara political game, his shemeful behaviour with his "beloved" brother at Vuelta 2010 and how he left Saxo Bank and his hard word against Bjarne put me on the opposite side of Andy forever.

2011 only confirms my good choice.

So no, I'm not an andy fan.

I basically meant you being an Alberto fan, because you said something about following your riders rivals to me so I thought maybe you're one as well. But you're just a fan of good cycling, and Andy is none of that, of course. :p

Andy is really shameless, what a moron he is. Just what you said, his behaviour during the 2010 Tour, how he still whines about Chaingate, that stage with Fabian, and I didn't even know about that with the motorbikes. So yeah, not much to like about him.

Well I'm only fan of GC riders and I share my cheers for Contador, Nibali and Sammy.

What I like more from Contador isn't his total domination but his never give up. I remembered his Giro 2008 out form win, his all-in of Paris Nice 2009 after his hunger knock and of course his legendary Alp-d'huez stage last year where he attacked all the peloton several times.

An another thing I love are his tactical surprises, Tropea at giro and col de la Manse at Tour are jewels in my opinion. It's a passionate guy in the radio era.

Exactly. I love it when he beats the crap outta everyone, but that's not why I like him in the first place. He never gives up and keeps on trying. That's why I love him as a cyclist, why I love him as a person only adds to that.

yeah but my point is that i'm not a fan of Contador because I disliked Andy. I liked Contador before knowing about Andy. And I was open minded to like both but... it couldn't be.

His "weak" team is one thing I like too. If he destroy the bunch with this current Saxo Bank is better for me than a Man City cycling like Leopard/radioshack

(I'm not so interested in what surprise it is, but more in whether they're going to wear scarves and if so, what color.)

They went from scarves to lovely knitted cardigans in a dusty shade of grey. Very suitable, since many riders on the team are old men.

*epic facepalm* What a moron he is. At least we know Andy'll fail miserably at it, so we don't have to worry about seeing anything of him this season, apart from utter crap him in the press.

Only a "competitive" try at Vuelta can save his year

Avoid Liège?!

What will he do until July? Trainning around without any competition goals? Wow that's really surprising. Will he ride Amstel at least?

Bruyneel:
"A long and lineal preparation to the Tour"
"Difficult to peak twice" So only in July
"No Giro because he want to be competitive at Tour... look at Contador"

Andy:
"Giro is a nice race but it's not the Tour and never will be"

It's a fair decision from Andy to ride the Tour, but I fear (for him) that we wouldn't even make the podium.
Evans, Wiggo, Berti (if allowed) + another will battle for the win and 1-3 spots.

Andy winning the 2012 tour would be the biggest sensation in cycling during the last 10 years.

Did he really said that? Andy's riding through the year compared with Contador's ?

F*** him. He knows that isn't true. And if he does believe himself, he'll know in a few months time.

On the other side, we know JB doesn't like all those other races either. So maybe it's a match made in heaven...

the only reason contador didn't win the tour last year was because of his crashes. if that's what bruyneel said he is an idiot
