As to bringing Alberto up randomly in discussions that have got nothing to do with him, check out this pm airstream sent me. (One of the many):
"Okay, probably we don't understand one another et all. Decode what i don't get"
Titled "cheat Contador".
I should just put him back on ignore, his trolling is making me sick.
Also airstream, please stop spamming my inbox with pms.

airstream said:Hm, has anyone watched the race on Eurosport? Andy distinctly said that performing well in the Ardennes initially hadn't been planned. Everything is under control. We will be flying in July. Fasten your seat belts.

“I had fantastic legs at the start,” said Andy Schleck. “But it just didn’t go as planned. There were crashes of course, but we can’t always be blaming the weather. We have to start dealing with the situations better that develop during the race since it’s the same for everyone. I can’t say this has been a bed of roses; it has not been a good year for us. We have not been lazy, everyone has worked hard. But we cannot blame anyone else. We can only blame ourselves.”

things are not always going as someone plans. however what's the difference if part of the forum acts like Andy owes them something personally..Angliru said:After Fleche Wallone didn't he state to the media that he planned on being a factor in LBL?
Part of the forum thinks Andy Schleck is a professional sportsman who can and should do better than he does now. Especially in a race in which he rode the final in the last 5 (!) years.airstream said:things are not always going as someone plans. however what's the difference if part of the forum acts like Andy owes them something personally..![]()

ElChingon said:Well you have to admit this is the typical Spring result(s) from a Joe-Han managed team. Yes, a highlight or two but nothing dramatic (winning a Classic), you all know its le Tour or nothing, everything else is just training or pack filler for them. Can't say I'm all to surprised by their lack of results, and wouldn't surprise me if they are pulling the Schleckchut on purpose.

How will we know?!![]()

gooner said:That was a PM and was supposed to be private. Whats the point of PMs if other posters can just display them at will in public for all to see. Infact I think the mods should have a word with La Florecita for putting it out in the public. She is just trying to turn people against airstream. She knows what she is doing. Thats wrong.
Anyway I am taking a long break from this forum. I know the mods do their best and at times their hands are full but there is too much needle in it at the moment for my liking.

vcampbell said:But Wiggins, Menchov and Evans can ride a constant hard pace, so they don't really need to answer all the attacks, they just need to ride they own tempo, and no one will go too far away.
Angliru said:My point was that in your post you state that doing well in the Ardennes was not their goal and we've seen a Velonews/Velo article to the contrary. Who are we to believe them or you?![]()
airstream said:Not me, that was Eurosport. We don't have to believe in any of them and should look into it as food for thought. It is usual mental game and such statements never demand any consistency. On the one hand he reminded he was there and the opponents should look up to him, on the other hand, he tried to take the pressure off the team.
Angliru said:Was Eurosport quoting them as saying that the Ardennes wasn't important and thus they didn't have high expectations for their own performance or was it an analysis by a Eurosport writer/commentator?
movingtarget said:It depends how well Schleck is going but he has to be more aggressive and take more risks. He has nothing to lose considering the TT situation. All three of them can have a bad day in the mountains. Let's face it, apart from the Galibier attack the Schlecks did not really shake up Evans too much in the 2011 Tour. They just made it easier for him. Tempo riding in the mountains won't be enough to win the Tour for Wiggins, Menchov or Evans.
gustienordic said:There is no chance Schleck will get enough time in unless Sanchez decides to help him and be the super domestique he was for AC last year. There is 0 chance the peloton will let both the Schlecks attack, and Evans can cover attacks, and Menchov & Wiggins are both good at riding back to attacks.
