Thx was just about to post that. I was also gonna add the bolded part It's a bad result but he didn't lose too much at all so that's good. Even beat some main contenders, that must be a first. Overall I think he will be satisfied with this!

He should go to Liquigas. Basso is stepping out and if he screws up this Giro, Fuglsang will have good leadership chances since Nibali will be gone.

I'm not sure Fuglsang is high enough quality to be the GC leader at Liquigas, but maybe the coaching will help him!
