Yeah, that was a b!tch move.

I love people like you that think Zubeldia is not going to loose time in the ITT anyway. As I said earlier, and I am posting Horner's confirmation, they are only interested a Team Podium rather than a 7th somethingish...

Of course, if they all sat up and waited for Zubeldia and ended up loosing the Team Podium you would be bashing em for that. RSNT wasn't as nearly as bad as Sky raining Froome in with the arm jestures as they gifted a Valverde a Stage in the Tour de France.

Zubelidia's comments:
"Kloden passed by me and he didn't even look at me, but we are professionals and everyone knows what to do"

"Kloden pasó a mi lado y ni me miró, pero somos profesionales y cada uno sabe lo que tiene que hacer"

What a Team!

Remember Kloden is an ex-T-Mobile rider from the years when they'd attack each other and reel each other in so this is no surprise to me :D Kloden helps Kloden, no one else ;)

Like Horner said Klöden flatted and the tactic is team GC.

I hope I am not coming off as an old whiny D$$$ but team GC is one of the dumbest awards among many dumb awards that the tour hands out. 1-2-3 is all that matters, the rest just confuse the hell out of new people watching the tour. I don't know how many times my wife asks "why is he wearing that polka dot jersey again?"...

The shack, 2 time team GC TDF winners..break out the bubbly

Horner among the best for me today obviously.

he's easily been the most consistent throughout the tour, yet he nearly didn't make the squad. yep, things must be hunky-dory over at radioshack.

It's funny they want to win Team GC but they're behaving like a bunch of anarchists. It's really embarrassing.

They lack team spirit and at the same time are the best team:D

Well Klöden is RSNT orginal GC leader and just passed Zubeldia because he´s had a flat tire. Why would he throw away a possible topp 10 finish in the stage and GC to help Zubeldia minimise the gap with just a few seconds?

Anyway Monfort helped Zubeldia out, so I can´t se the problem.

The only problem with RSNT was that they should have given Horner more freedom from start. He was cleary their strongest rider in the mountain, if you take in consideration all the problems he has struggeld with plus all the efforts he has done for his teamleaders.

That's not what I meant. It's just that Kloden didn't even look at Zubeldia when he passed him ...like he was nothing. He certainly didn't appreciate that.

They did the same to Levi in 2010, when he still had a faint shot at the podium. I would have loved to see them doing it to Armstrong that year, if he had been strong enough. Something tells me it wouldn't have been all for the Team GC then.

Zubeldia had already been dropped when Klöden flatted and after watching it again, Klöden may have not really seen him. He just looked intent on getting back on his bike. I do feel for Zubeldia, but he had cracked hard. It's hard to argue with not protecting a respected 5th GC. RSNT have never really had a strong leader in this Tour, but there are trying not to loose too much on the Tean GC going into the ITT where they really could loose a lot of time without Cancellara.

Their close, but no cigar.

RSNT is an aging team and they have no big talent in their younger riders. Fuglsang could come along, but the team is going it's separate ways.

2/3rds of Becca's fund loaded with mortgages

Flavio Becca's fund OLOS is sitting on a mountain of mortgages that make for a total of €508 million, according to a report from auditing company PwC. In principle such a heavy load of mortgages is not a problem, but should the real estate lose its value, the fund could get into financial trouble.

However most experts expect Luxembourg's real estate market to continue to be stable. The thread of a real estate bubble does currently not exist. The prices for real estate are rather climbing. Still Becca's investments can only be profitable if he doesn't sell in the short term, according to PwC.

However in their analysis PwC notes that credits of €227 million must be paid back next year. The fund has ordered "specialists in London and Luxembourg" to find a way to pay them back. The manager of the fund is "confident" that the continuing existenc of the fund is secured, according to the report.

I would like to see Nissan stay in the sport. Nissan-Trek? But I am just musing on the future. A whole new staff of directors would be a must.

Cancellara, Montfort and Gallopin would be the dreamticket for Saxo, but that is not going to happen.

Any particular reason why you want Nissan to say?

They seem commited. They're running a lot of ads despite the troubles. A little more solid title sponsor. Horner pitching that way?

OK, would be good to have another auto manufacture as main sponsor again, its been a while since the last one (as main sponsor).

Return the Team to the U.S.

Someone needs to buy out Becca's interest, return the team to the U.S., then trade the contracts of Andy and Frank to Astana for Brajkovic, Kreuzinger, a few tenges, and a couple of bushels of almas.
