Fleche was far better! This may be mean but i find it hard to watch vino doing well. it doesn't sit with me. Moose knuckles comment was hilarious

Well, we all know the bio-passport is dead, stone dead today. Hurray for McQuaid. Beginning to understand why Gripper left UCI.

If we can cheer for Vino, we can cheer even more for Lance. I've become a Shack fan today. Let's have some panache!

I think the BP conceded to the fact that cheating/doping can't be totally eliminated, so let's just keep it within a boundary we can control. It's a g-dd--ed arms race and the cops are always a step behind and always will be. Sorry. No judgment attached. It's just the way it is.

Well you obviously hate cycling then. That was fantastic, the best riders in the world going as hard as they can.

please don't remind me :(

anyway, what a week. AGR; FW; LBL the greatest week of the year...

AGR: Final move on the last climb of Cauberg.
FW: Final move in last meters of Huy.
LBL: Vino is awesome, but race started at Valkenrots.

It was a good race. Not a Vino fan, but don't really hate the guy either. He doped, served his time, he attacks and makes things interesting in most of the races he enters. Meh. At least Valverde didn't win.

Looks like it, sadly.

i suspect vino and kolobnev had agreed before the race to help each other.

i don't know if they agreed on anything prior to the race... I mean they were both better off staying together till the finish.

or do you mean that they talked before the race to say where they would attack?

Great race, great ride from Astana, so much for Contador not being able to be a teammate, now Vino should repay him at tour and make AC unbeatable, my previous comment is only about dopers ruining a great sport (I'm not one of these who believes everyone is doping) and therefore it feels wrong seeing them come back.

But thats the rules and he rode superbly so i guess congrats goes to Vino.

P1 drugs cheat
P2 Kolobnev
P3 A guy banned from racing in Italy
P4 Gilbert
P5 Evans

Gilbert should be proud of himself - tremendous ride against the odds.
