Micheal Hall and the haters on this forum are quite clueless about pro-cycling.

He is right and wrong in the article. The bottom line is life and procycling are not fair. Hard to say and hard to accept but true irregardless.

To me the firemen who dashed into the flaming world trade center to rescue the victims of 911 are heroes. Pro cyclists and pro athletes are comic book heroes doped to the gills or clean and sober.

Time for the fan-boys and drug crusaders to get a job and a life. Mike Hall is a crybaby. Real heroes are doctors, firemen and cops and soldiers those who save lives. + school teachers who inspire children to greater heigths

Please enlighten us about your real world experience in pro cycling :p

Bogus registration worked fine. Thank you!

Although to be honest page 2 was a bit of a let down.

Are you crazy? Page 2 was the best part!!!

The way he describes how Armstrong should apologize, and how people (and more importantly, his corporate sponsors) will forgive him because he's "saved people"-man, that is comedy gold!!

Armstrong the Televangelist!!! Healing the cancer-stricken one plastic yellow bracelet at a time!!! HAHAHA!!!

I recommend the reading of page 2. It is the essence of the article.

Since we're on this giving Lance advice kick, he can feel free to follow any of these apologies and just cut and paste-

Word is, Armstrong will admit to it, but that he was contaminated by all the European beef.

All the suckers will eat that up.

I'm shocked at the type of dishonest behavior you're advocating, Tubeless.

Simply shocked.:eek::eek:

You know it's a slippery from this to blood transfusions, don't you? ;);)

Seriously, you guys should read the other article this guy wrote on Armstrong back in 2001. It's in one of the side links to the article.

That one is another doozy. I almost vomited.

Which one is worse - copying copyrighted material to another web site, or hiding behind an email address or alias that can't be tracked?

Speaking of which - what's your real name?

Boy, you said it, brother!

Now those of us who've suspected that Armstrong and others were on world-class PED programs are the ones that are ignorant. We're the ones who've had our head in the sand all these years, and we just don't have the balls to admit it! We're just not tough enough to accept that cheating is only practiced by the toughest, stronger competitors in the sport! It takes real ball to shell out a few million a year to a doctor who will monitor your PED program, to set up a personal distribution network, to bully those who dare speak out, and to ride a wave of support from those who genuinely want to support research into a terminal illness. That Armstrong, he's just the toughest show in town!

In reality, he was a scared, clueless and talented kid who could pedal a bike and who has been massaged by a group of opportunists his entire career. Unsurprisingly, he eventually became one of those opportunists himself.

Your rationalizations may change, and that's OK. It's a pretty thin veil at this point anyway. We all know that there are some who will choose to rationalize Armstrong's behavior for fear of losing the idol you've created in your mind.

I think it's been mentioned a few times before, but you should never go full ***.

Mike Hall

Mike Hall, typical small man complex. Most likely drives a bright red F450. He is quite short has to sit on a stack of phone books to see over the dashboard, can barely reach the gas pedal. 44 colt python and a bible in glove box. Has gunsight zeroed in on the uniballer. Hates cycling and America as the US has subjegated the Republic of Texas.

Have to say by writing for the two great cycling journals Outside magazine and Texas monthly he will speak to many knowledgable cycling fans.

Sad that these threads always seem to move from the usual slagging off of Armstrong supporters and then degenerate into sewer humour. I guess thats an indication of the mentality of certain posters though.

An interesting article which sets out in a tabloid manner the nature of the accusations. In terms of readability I found it good that the author used an open letter format.

It doesn't add anything that hasn't been said many times before and the focus on what Floyd said is probably pretty irrelevant given the obvious issue with Floyd as an eye witness. Still it does give anyone who is not versed in the issue the superficial details.

Interesting times.

I think the notion that Armstrong would feel compelled to jump on the doping bandwagon with EPO during the 95 tour because he was struggling to keep up.....according to Swart (inferred)...is a bit curious.

Is it safe then to assume he won his Worlds clean?

For the record, Colt never made a 44 Python. They made a 357 Python and a 44 Anaconda. Both great guns, but the 357 Python is considered by many to be Colt's high watermark of "production made" revolvers. Sadly, Colt is no more and the 357 Python is highly prized by collectors.

Organised doping programme and doping - there is a big difference. Enter Ferrari.

artilcles written, former team mate interviews, all damming yes, but is it going to lead to his downfall ? I hope so, but am starting to losing faith as I don't see much progress ? I have no clue where Novitsky is ? I just hope the Lance case, doesn't turn into another OJ Simpson case.

Check out the Outside magazine issue on Lance. Very objective and to the point. If you read that article and watch the blood sports video that is in the clinic you can get an idea what will happen with Lance.

Those Colt revolvers were beautiful ordinance.
