Please do note that this guy does have a mental disability and is the dutch champion for riders with a disability

BTW great that the riders themselves were really positive about it

Great he's going to try it again at the tour de France

mental disability or not, this guy is a hero

Yeah but just in case someone here attacked him.

BTW this guy really is my hero, he helped Modolo, got him his bike, made sure the chain was back in order and pushed him along

He has more cycling skills than 90% of this forum, that's for sure. I can't follow the peloton, even when they 'gave up' for 1km.

But that doesn't mean people won't have some form of criticism about him.

different question: do you do his website as well?

If not, you should, free of charge :p

It must have been great for him. But lets hope it doesn't create some kind of precedent, like all those antler bearing, mankini wearing mountain drunks.

It's a funny stunt...once.

Wouldn't be good if it started happening on a regular basis, because sooner or later one of the imposters would crash and take out a competitor.

Brilliant! This is what cycling is about.

Can someone translate the linked interview into English (key parts ) ?
Thanks
no, cycling is about Texans in longhorns running along in front of the peloton to be the next Didi Sempft.

the precedent was set a long time ago.

besides, he wasn't the only pretender to show up yesterday.
