Had to google that one to get it right (wrong).

Sun, no wind and 11 degrees, which increases the chances of a bunch sprint significantly.cycladianpirate said:The expression is actually "the proof of the pudding is in the eating", but there you go.
Still think the betting markets reflect the chances of the various riders. Not that I'd back Cavendish. If all goes "to plan", then he has a superb chance. But when did planning ever have anything to do with cycling - particularly 300kms of cycling?
Most importantly, though, has anyone here seen any weather forecasts yet?
Afrank said:Not saying he doesn't have a chance just that the pic makes him look fat, if it comes down to a bunch sprint I am 90% sure he will take it.

taiwan said:Yeah I was being ironic by deliberately making a common mistake. I had to check it in order to do though, which was a bit pathetic. I also had to check that the expression for this misuse of a phrase is an "eggcorn". Who knew?
What a waste of a post.
Oh, "EGGCORN", I get it.
Actually, probably not an eggcorn. anyone care?

I'm right in thinking that it's about 2km of flat from the bottom of the Poggio to the finish am I?

I would love to have that cut to half at least, that would be really better for the finale.

Can you reveal more from inside this crystal ball?qwerty16 said:Wouldn't be a smart move. Nibali will me much more needed afterwards in the downhill and the final km's to keep the pack together. If Nibali kills himself up the Poggio Sagan will be left with no teammates alongside him and a select group of riders who will be looking to drop Sagan.

check the videos of 1996 cipressa, colombo attacks so hard, something like 55 km/h uphill, catches the motorbikes in front of him and they can't get accelerate faster than him.beyond barbaric!
i hope it will be again a hard race with few sprinters,i'd prefer none at all.
