What is it with BMC fans and not reading what I post even when responding to me.

Once again, there are faster riders he can't drop. Both in form, Thor can't drop Goss and he can't beat him in a sprint. I'm not even sure Thor can beat Fab in a sprint anymore.

Thor did beat Hagen in a sprint in the Tour.

lol sky should not have sacrificed so many riders just for cav.

As ive said before though, would they have known how far back he would drop? Its easy at the top of the climb or 50km down the road to say what the right tactic would have been at the bottom of the climb.

Does that make what I've said not true ? I said something about the English stream because it's the only one I've watched. I did make any assumptions about the other streams, they might or might not be showing times, I don't know.

Is there any place to see the times and groups?

His point is that no matter what channel or language you are watching this, they all are using the same Italian feed, and that feed supplies the graphics as well as the live racing.

Really? When on form thors climbing is much better than a lot of sprinters.

No other team willing/able/motivated to work for the large 2nd Group? Garmin given up on Farrar?
@Vaughters
Would appear Farrar was split off on the descent of la manie. That can happen. But don't worry folks, we never put all our eggs in one basket

Well if he had been dropped so easily, they shouldn't have bothered. He would have been dropped easily on the cipressa or poggio.

He dropped 50 miles from the finish. Tactics should be only to help him over the last two climbs IMO. If he can't bake to to there then put a fork in him.

Well, we might find out the answer to that last question in Paris-Roubaix... although Thor will be starting his sprint from 1.5km back ;)

Yes, I got that, I just don't why he had to point that out instead of posting something useful. And that's my last post on this, the discussion is getting silly.

There is only one wierd thing for me. Cav gets dropped, and at first he has only one teammate to help. OK, they have Eddy, but then amount of helpers suddenly increases to 4. Maybe EBH doesn't feel that great too

According to Rai, Petacchi coudn't handle it on Capo Mele. However seems really strange to me, it must have been some mechanicals

So in the tactic's meeting yesterday Sky decided that if Cav were dropped by 1:30 after 500 meters on Le Manie they would let the entire team wait for him instead of having some stay with EBH. Genius.

Like someone mentioned before, a Cancellara - Bennati combo would be awesome.

With Cav out, might this be heading towards an epic puncheur showdown?

LOL. Bingo. Great tactics. I am sure if he could have just made it back he would have gone over the cipressa and poggio no problem.
