Jorgenson delivered in this relative environment.
It doesn't mean they don't expect him to train like a donkey.
If Jonas can't rule Paris-Nice there should be some reckoning.

He raced really well, doesn't have much for a sustained punch ,don't know if megawatts for @90-180 seconds is his thing, but he really couldn't go with top 3.
Pogacar gave tons of praise to Jan Christen for racing like a mad man, Able to jump around with crazy energy and speed, Jorgenson couldn't keep his wheel at all. Wout was a bit stale also but overall Visma has some bright spots.

That holds some water, It is early ..Tadej is different I guess and Del Toro did a sketchy UAE tour, Seixus did Volta, it's certainly looking like Visma is improving overall, all eyes now on Vingegaard..
Remco is probably riding in the mountains and sleeping all night in a ski lift chair wearing a borrowed CO2 rebreather from a friend at UAE. Probably Wellens gave him one for Christmas.
I am watching the 3 Musketeers at Decathlon, what do Felix Gall and Matt Riccitello look like.. Jayco also shows some good signs.Not seeing or hearing much from Ineos yet..

His problem when it comes to winning monuments and stages is that he's got no explosiveness to win a bunch sprint, and isn't a strong enough climber to just ride away from the best in the world. His only real chance is to make a clever attack from the lead group at the right moment.

His problem is definitely not just his explosiveness. He also doesn't have the engine to beat the big boys in monuments and mountain stages.

Unfortunately for him I don't think many underrate him enough to give him much leash, and he's a bit too easy to draft. He would need to be in a situation where the presence of a Wout or Brennan freezes rivals.

He'll need to train the sprinting but that ship may have sailed years ago. Speed doesn't show up in mature athletes as much as they'd hope. He is a strong enough climber to ride away from many: watch the Isola 2000 stage of the Tour. Tadej caught him but no one else did and he'd put in many stages in the first 2.5 weeks working for Jonas before that. He is a diesel, though. That, and JV is thin enough he may not get the chances he'd want (hopefully he will).
