Since you wrote a quite long post, I'll answer it in parts.

In general, interpretation of 'trolling' doesn't hold water on the forum. Accusations of trolling followed me since I joined CN.

Schleck would have kept up with Contador if Contador was in the Giro 2011 form - trolling;
Wiggins is a superclimber - trolling;
Wiggins is as deserved Tour winner as any other in terms of doping for last 20 years - trolling;
Froome would have been able to keep up with Contador without the train at Prati di Tivo - trolling
Froome will attack Contador in the Tour on the climbs - trolling ...
Derailing train doesn't guarantee beating Sky captains - trolling ...
etc etc etc

IMO none of that is trolling. It's mostly predictions, guesses, opinions etc.

Mastersracer demonstrated himself as a real cycling intellectual, who contemplate independently and express his argument precisely, coherently and politely. A word 'politely' should be underlined, because it is not so wide-spread in the clinics. The good well informed guy was banned, because he is not full of bile and utopian cycling views Fearless Greg Lemond and not a star of evil clinics trolling thehog. Is it a forum integrity? I couldn't care less about this kind of integrity.

Hey there. You've made some good points. Don't hurt your cred with statements like the one above. MR should not have been perma-banned (now overturned). Be he was hardly polite and he did post to get reactions. And if you think that is my opinion, it seems MR himself thought so, which was part of his "research".

Netserk, I know you were wrong. The fact you banned me for nothing is evil profanation and lawlessness.

Apparently Galic Ho is banned for "racism". I'd like to know the circumstances as this is a pretty serious accusation.

Often I see on the forums various posters bleating and bandying the term "racism" around in the wrong context. I wouldn't want to see the mods drawn into pandering to that and would like to be reassured that this did not occur here.

my interest in the month long ban was after reading guidance from sittingB
i think in the sky thread that anyone guilty of racism would be instantly
banninated forever

would this actually only happen if attack was against a racial group other than the irish?

More of a threat then an actual rule. We're all good guys so for now Galic Ho gets the chance to redeem himself. If when he comes back he'll keep on writing those kind of things he'll be permabanned for sure.

Well I assumed relevant post was deleted as the only one I could find was fairly innocuous IMO.

I didn't see anything in his post referring to Irishmen of African or Asian descent?

I would think it would happen if the attack was against an actual racial group rather than a nationality. Obviously the lesser crime deserving of a lesser ban is bagging people because they "speak different" whereas you feel the full weight of the 'law' if you bag people because they "look different".

I think not all forms of racism are treated equally. I am guessing if that rant had been related to the colour of someone's skin he would be perma-banned no questions. If it was related to someone having ginger hair probably not.

At work (In the UK at least) if you mimic an Indian accent you are likely to get in trouble but an Irish one would be ok. There are all kinds of variables at play...

A good thing he wasn't trying to do some "research", right? You get a perma-ban for that (at least initially). Methinks the mods might be making these up as they go along if that is the current way of thinking wrt levels of offence.

Well I think you are exaggerating somewhat though Galic Ho is rather intemperate and gets rather fired up I don't see much racism going on. Galic Ho's problem is making no allowance for the fact there are thin-skinned, childish people on the interwebs. If anything Galic Ho could be banned for lack of civil discourse. Anyway the same people who term Galic Ho "disgusting" go about telling other forumites their posts are full of s*** with no consequences. Why? well probably because no-one bothers to cry to the mods.

The post in question (that you seem not to have read, so one wonders why you're so willing to defend it) was highly offensive to Irish people. That's a form of racism, even if it doesn't involve the color of one's skin. That's not much more to discuss.
