I love 4chan. It is entertaining.
4chan == massively popular
CN == Not so much.
This might mean something.

I did. I'm just not sure why ElC thinks there will be so many bans... I can stand a joke or two... They just need not to be too offensive...Zam_Olyas said:Come on, man..i am sure you have seen south europe/european being slagged off.

I read the forum... It just happens that being there so many threads I fail to understand what someone implies, sometimes. I generally don't ban people only because I don't understand what they mean, you know.ElChingon said:Wow! And you are allowed to ban people, no wonder this place is all jacked up. READ THE FORUM! ITS ALL IN THE FORUM! IF YOU DON'T READ THE FORUM THEN YOU CAN'T REALLY COMMENT OR ACT ON THINGS AS YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON!
If that's too hard then well maybe you are not really meant to be a mod. Its pretty simple really.
No, you should have.Eshnar said:That would be more precise, I could put it that way.
For having a sockpuppet, if I remember well.
edit:
I do. Having a sockpuppet while temporarly banned.

It seems the Irish people can be referred as a race after all. So that was racism.race [reys]

More subtle I guess.
This is really horrible, quoting an online dictionary?Eshnar said:So that was racism.
I can still read you, yet I ignore youNah, I don't think many realised he was gone, I think most people had him on ignore by the end.
Eshnar said:The first two examples are likely not been sanctioned, because the first isn't directed to another user and the second is directed to unknown people. But insulting other members is forbidden and if sometimes posts escapes from our radars it's because we are not everywhere. That said, I'm pretty much sure the greater part of the posts you linked resulted in warnings.

'A racist WILL be baninated for life period'
Don't be late Pedro said:Consistency eh?
I think not all forms of racism are treated equally. I am guessing if that rant had been related to the colour of someone's skin he would be perma-banned no questions. If it was related to someone having ginger hair probably not.
At work (In the UK at least) if you mimic an Indian accent you are likely to get in trouble but an Irish one would be ok. There are all kinds of variables at play...
Funny world we live in.

So probably not the best example
Why are you quoting me?sittingbison said:This is an absolute hoot. ebandit

No that's just weird. Also not something that should be announced either otherwise mischievous peopleBroDeal said:Does Martin Vickers PMing people to tell them he is ignoring them count?
gooner said:First of all I haven't seen Airstream's post in that thread. Nonetheless I am talking about the post he got banned for, where he criticised the classics and it was considered trolling by the mods to warrant him a month ban. Yet Galic Ho for his attack on a country gets him a month as well. Now please tell me how on earth these two offenses(airstream's post wasn't even trolling in the first place and I don't how someone can come to that conclusion) are considered to be of the same level to get the exact same length in ban.
I didn't label him. I labelled his post.Fearless Greg Lemond said:This is really horrible, quoting an online dictionary?
He was certainly not nice - eufemism of the day - but labelling him as a racist is really over the top.
there is no new sensitivity...whatever is not allowed now was never allowed in the first place. Is it so strange? Can you provide a heavy attack to an entire nationality that didn't result in a ban?Zam_Olyas said:Okay i just reported a post..racist comment..using the new sensitivity rule. let's see if he is ban.
