Just in case a real mod hasn't intervened but there is a real beer thread, if you're so interested on the subject you're probably best to post there for a beer reply before someone start to talk about other things and some real mod gets all huffy about going off topic.

Yup, yup - don't want things going OT, right on that! UNofficially, I even usually slide on folks wandering off the topic path on occasion. A couple posts here or there. Yup - know about the beer thread - beer is good food, after all, eh? Fortunately, my skin is thick enough I read your post twice before I even noticed the "real mod" (ahem) humor! Cheers, El!

So, an ON topic para to close with: airstream - you keep getting censured because you pick fights, not because of your point of view. Talking, and discussing, are different from fighting. I see you repeatedly ignore this little bit of advice. If you truly wish to understand, and communicate, you might benefit by looking at the different definitions of aggressive and assertive. Assertive is well-received, aggression is not. If you don't truly wish to communicate, you'll just keep making the same aggressive personal aspersions that mark so many of your posts. My suggestion to you is to "drop it", as we say here. I imagine that translates.

Sounds more to me like you are trying to nitpick semantics - like what you mean by "is", right?

And, if you are trying to nitpick definitions and semantics, then you are getting awfully close to trying to get a response, which is . . .

Which, as you might know, is a rhetorical technique, not a logical one, yes? Certainly the kind of technique that seems valuable in a TV courtroom, or in the political arena.

Not doing so and asking someone to go look for something that you bring up is trollish behavior, which thankfully you do not seem to mind being accused of.

I'm glad you're "letting it go". Fortunately, I didn't accuse you of being a troll. However, I did say one of your posts, as quoted, seemed to be swimming in those waters, or close to them. If I felt that you were responding in clearly trollish fashion, it would have been an infraction and post deleted. So, perhaps it was more a "word to the wise". You are good with words and thoughts, so another 2nd thought before posting won't hurt you.
