I still find it hard to believe that IzNoGooD was banned in the first place, A bit OTT?

Seriously Mods why?

Why is Machado man never going to be on this forum again, are you sure he new not to make another account, i understand that is silly but come on now perma banned for it. Seriously annoyed as i liked that guy. To some he could of been annoying Machado Machado and more friggin Machado but he seemed cool to me. Goodbye IZONGUD:mad:, i hope Tiago doubles up at Le Tour and La Vuelta.:D

"Permanent" bans don't have to be that way. If it is clear that one is willing to change their behaviour and address the reasons for the initial ban then on review, a permanent ban may only end up being a few months.

The problem is that in most cases the response is to spam accounts. Often the reason for permabanning in the first place is because of account creation to avoid a temporary suspension. A ban is never going to be overturned without a sustained period of abstinence.

Sniper and Dao.

Sniper was annoying with his angling for JV or Garmin in almost any thread but he was alright while Dao is worth it just for his set-to with Ryo.

Just a note: any banned member who wants to come back will have to figure out a way to contact the mods, and present a convincing case.

We will not go around and contact banned users to see if they want to come back.......

Can you make an exception for the banned user Daotec? I miss his(?) avatar and those freaky threads he used to start.

Thing is the posters who are too stupid to realize they will get perma banned for setting up a new account to circumvent a 1 week ban, are too stupid to contact the mods.

In daotecs case he got a week ban then logged into a new account in which he admitted to be daotec.

Maybe a silly question but how can you contact the Mods if your banned, surely you will get banned for making an account to speak the the mods no?

After seeing JV cosying up to the greatest sporting fraud in the history of sport, Sniper may be right about JV ;)

Dont miss Dao.

But it isn't too hard to get your message across here and avoid being banned without diluting one's posts. Those who do get perma banned tend to have ignored the oncoming train.

Whenever he posts he tacitly admits to being Daotec.

Yeah but on that occasion he actually posted the original message that the mods had sent to the DAOTEC account informing him of his ban:eek:

How long is Daotecs ban

Daotecs new account said:
1 week.

"Dear poster. You have been given a ban for ignoring mod warnings.

The ban will be 1 week.

This is fair enough.

I do think we need to pause before some temp bans though. For example, I still think IzNoGood's ban about cyclists crashing was not necessary. The comment was stupid and in poor taste, but not something really in the "banning zone".
