Banning Frank Day one month for "persistent trolling, distortion and mistruths" is IDIOTIC. He is using the forum for advertising--something that is supposedly banned.

Banning won't get him to change his behavior because his only reason for being here is spreading information about his product.

Isn't it trolling for people to go into threads in the clinic without offering any arguments and just dismiss the thread as making them laugh or being full of stupid people?

The threads are there, and if people want to comment on the subject matter they can and if they don't want to they don't have to. To just dismiss and mock entire threads without participating is obvious baiting.

I've been very busy lately and haven't had as much time to keep up to date on the threads as I normally would have. So could you PM me who is doing that? I'm pretty sure I know, but would like to confirm.

Those guys went against the norm here and were punished for it. Note the thread and what all was going on during that time. Lots of bait and rubbing their nose in it posts are still up over there. It sorta tells the story. I doubt those guys will last a day because the gang will jump them as fast as they post.

It is comical almost like they (norm group) don't even see the hypocrisy on how they go after the hogs and digs.

Back 5 minutes and one long Powercrank Spam post with made up charts and data and then repeats it in another thread.

A month of reflection seems to have had zero impact on his behaviour.

What might help is increasing the time limit between reporting posts. The curent system leaves it open for a single or multiple user/s repeatedly reporting posts giving the impression off mass outrage.

We aren't that gullible. The mods have a pretty good idea of what is going on, and especially in light of who is complaining/reporting.

I see another ludicrous suspension has been handed out by AFrank.

The only guy not baiting and trolling the Cookson thread gets the red card.

Still, as long as making things up and opinions given out as facts are more valued than evidence around here, it's always going to be that way..

Have to respect the decision and hope Mark comes back with even better posts. Not hard to guess who was on the other side of the argument(s) that led to his ban.

I hope Mark comes back; but changing posters names and calling people “drunk tramps” does nothing to demonstrate you’re serious about what you’re posting. Nothing wrong with having an opinion but if you start every post off by modifying the users name then it’s just going to get everyone’s backs up and will cause conflict. Also, I think not trying to genuinely discuss a topic rather than just blocking everything that is being posted will lead to an ban.

I don’t agree with what you post Mellow but I respect the fact you don’t attempt mindless baiting. I still wish you’d post a lot more around here. You’re style lends to discussion not conflict.

Mark seemed angry that some posters were negative towards Cookson. Maybe when he comes back he can try to post his own opinions calmly instead of resorting to trolling and baiting.

Hog bans go for 1 month at a time. That's proper banning.
