wait, do the mods actually believe "ebandit" was hacked? cmon.. that story has more holes in it than the latest Walsh book

why?
If ebandit wasn't hacked then it was an extremely stupid move for him to claim that he was.

Imagine if ebandit and laurel have always been the same person. What did he stand to gain by claiming he was hacked? The ban was already over, he was free to go back to trolling. Instead he stopped trolling claimed to be hacked which prompted bigmac to post the pm. Getting his laurel account banned while the ebandit one is already on a shorter leash.

It makes no sense. It's not like people are going to suddenly put their full trust back in the ebandit account. The second ebandit starts posting like he was oct-Dec2014 people will get suspicious again.

It seems to me markl was not the same person as laurel. And if he was, **** Ritz what has he gained by convincing me of that? Zilch.

Not thay I'm saying you are or you aren't, but a banned sockpuppet account saying you aren't Vickers proves less than nothing. Its not like it would be impossible for you to be all 3. Afterall laurel was several times having fake conversations with himself.

Also, for what it's worth I received a PM from Laurel saying ebandit was telling the truth. No matter what though, it's a troll account though. I think likely the same person behind the Joachim and Stutue accounts as well.

Why would anyone want to hack ebandits account? After all joachim has like 50 other accounts he could troll from just as easily.

And why would ebandit sit there for months without trying to do anything about it? the hacker even forgot to change the password so he could have signed in any time he wanted to, but somehow he finds out about it and signs in at exactly the moment his ban is expired.

nah, not buying any of that. I think what happened was that he realized he made a huge mistake by sending the PM from the wrong account, so he figured he would have to save face somehow.

Who cares though, he will be back soon even though he has a life and doesn't spend all his time on the internet like us losers.

True, but I don't think ebandit is Laurel. The posting styles are very different and they have much different demeanor's.

Plus there wouldn't be much point in making up the story that you'd been hacked by another account that is also operated by yourself and then saying from that account it was true. I don't know what that would really do aside from create drama on the forum.

And we know the trolling style of posting from the Laurel account and can recognize it easily if it starts coming out of ebandits account again.

True but on the totality of facts he doesn't behave like a person who just joined the forum. He references situations prior to his arrival. He posts very similar to a former poster who was previously banned and tried to come back with another account.

I generally ignore him like I'm asked to do. Just through it was odd during the ebandit hack that Spud joined in with him with some fairly over the top posts designed to bait people into attacks then a ban.

I havent just joined - I have been here for about 6-7 months. And what prior knowlegde do I quote? All of your bans I comment on have been since I have joined. Again - you are completely ignoring the facts.

To clarify - i wrote my 'apology' request without seeing your post. When i then posted i saw you had replied - both have the same time. This is a genuine coincidence.
